When a guy acts different around you, is he doing it intentionally?

I think they probably want to create good impressions that's all. I know a lot of guys are like that and I think that's pretty dumb. Another reason can be that they don't want to be considered weak or not strong enough in front of females. I prefer guys being themselves than pretending to be who they are not
