Is the public sector strike on Thursday just what is needed to put Britain back on it's feet?

Look how the recent series of national strikes in Greece and Portugal have placed these two nations back on the road to recovery. Shouldn't everyone,like everyone, go on strike indefinitely until we have achieved 100% employment and regained our position as the most powerful and wealthy nation on earth?
