Why do people think that only girls like this?

i think that people think only girls like this since throughout history females are portrayed as weaker in most societies so yeah, also, who wouldnt want someone to protect you?? (i find it so cute when a guys mildly protective) i think its just that girls are usually thought as the weaker one so yeah
