Why do Christians sometimes look down on Christians who question things?
I am someone who asks a lot of questions because I want to know the truth, the whole truth, and nothing but the truth, but I have noticed a lot of Christians view that as weakness, confusion, or deception. If you don't study something and are convinced it is really true, then why would you be satisfied with being confident something is true that you have not even looked into it and just taken someone's word for it (like say, a pastor)? I just prefer tested truth rather than confidence in a false doctrine. I think there are scriptures that speak of this. What do you think?
