Does the Republican party ask too much of it's members?
They demand that you reject all non-sanctioned forms of media or literature. They demand that you write off the majority percentage of American citizens and cultures as being un-American is some way. They ask you to support corporate freedoms while legislating against individual rights. They force their members to selectively ignore the OMB so they can pretend that Reaganomics is fiscally conservative. Not all, but too many of their members feel embroiled in a culture war against Islam, Mexican immigrants and homosexuals. They are asked to take tele-evangelists speaking tongues seriously. Adults actually taking Palin, Beck and Rush seriously! After being subjected to enough state conditioning they have been convinced that the military industrial complex is American but that social spending is traitorous. That we should imprison citizens for organizing and collective bargaining. They are asked to keep secrets about the Bush doctrine and the 9/11 commission. It's like an abusive relationship between party and members going on here. And I feel for my American brothers and sisters. How can I help relieve their burden?
