Do True Believers even care if evidence contrary to AGW is suppressed?

With organization like the EPA, CRU, NIWA and a host of others either suppressing evidence against AGW or using unpublished methodology to adjust newer temperatures upward and older temperatures downward, do the True Believers even care about science anymore? They seem to have taken the stance that Anthropogenic Global Warming is a fact and they will make the data fit their belief. Isn't that contradictory to the scientific method?
