Question about 7th day Adventist theology?
Afraid they don't have much in the way of a correct answer. The correct answer would be Roman Catholic.
Contemporary band suggestions?
my ipod is dominated by classic rock (Rolling Stones, David Bowie, Grateful Dead, Pink Floyd are the big 4). I need some recommendations for some new bands to listen too. I like bands with powerful vocals, clever lyrics, and when the band members themselves are cool that's a big plus.
Why is dropping tax breaks and subsidies for the rich and powerful considered class warfare?
The only people who fared well in that past decade, some phenomenally well are those at the top who not only don't pay their fair share of taxes sometimes get rebates. Those of us who actually work hard day after day haven't seen an increase in wages in 40 years with a few exceptions but overall. Meanwhile every aspect of our lives has increased in cost. I don't know of any poor people directly responsible for the countries stock and housing crash. Why are they being asked to give up basic needs in life to afford the money needed to make up the deficit?
Existence = that which consists of either matter or energy?
No, existence is not only what consists of matter or energy. If this is meant to be an argument against God's existence, you are question-begging.
Would res judicata be an appropriate defense to....?
an appeal of a denial of an application to proceed in forma pauperis on an action seeking to garnish wages if another application to proceed IFP regarding the same issue (garnishment) was filed and subsequently denied as well? Would a change in financial circumstances negate the use of that doctrine?
Please rate my updated Yugioh dragon deck?
that deck is pretty good. play with other people often to get its feel, so you can know every possible way to win (basically).
If muslims are so sick of being seen negatively, why wont they do something about it?
ive heard muslims over and over say that theyre tired people spreading lies about them and misunderstanding their religion, but what r we misunderstanding or lying about? 1st they state theyre peaceful, but then we see their leaders proclaim war, muslims supporting it and muslims executing the attacks. am i ,missing something? i turn on my tv and theres guy saying he's muslim, he kills a bunch of people, then another muslim pops up saying the 1st guy was a holy soldier or something and then i see the leaders of muslim countries praising the murders of these "non-muslims". if something like this would happen in any other kind of group anywhere, that particular group would put a stop to it themselves. but not muslims. they seem to prefer to get mad at the victims' families for stating the obvious: "they claimed to be peaceful, but then started killing every1". every other group of people in the world would put a stop to it, but not muslims. i dont get it. r they the 1s who r actually misinformed? is it some kind cultural thing where its ok to lie, kill, get pissed off at every1 whos not cool with it and then accuse them of intolorance? or is it a strange combination of fear and anger? that last 1 is the only 1 that makes any sense to me. maybe most of them disagree with the killings, but r too afraid (or selfish) to put a stop to it. and anger towards the victims is a convenient way to vent and show submission to the extremists. if your muslim, dont hate me if im misunderstanding something. im trying to understand u the best i can by trying to make sense of your ACTIONS. i dont care about doctrines or empty words. to me personally, actions speak louder than words. if im wrong, then please explain y u havent done anything about it for over 1,500 years. if u arent muslim plz let me know your observations and your views.
